Frequently Asked Questions

When will I get my ticket?

For those who are eligible for complementary admission (please see the “Am I eligible to attend?” section below) you will receive your ticket via email shortly after you have been confirmed. Please check your spam folder before contacting the organising team regarding a missing ticket.

Please be aware that you must have a valid ticket to gain entry to this event.

Am I eligible to attend?

The LTOPS event is a very popular occasion and to be fair to our sponsors we must ensure that all ticket requests go through a pre-approval vetting process. Although a ticket may be issued to you by Eventbrite prior to vetting, the organising team reserves the right to refuse entry to those persons judged to be ineligible.

If you work directly for a Ship Owner, Ship Broker or Oil Company/Oil Trading Company in the Operations or Demurrage Functions you will be eligible. You may also be eligible if you are the guest of one of our sponsors. While we ask sponsors to submit the names and positions of each of their guests, if you are not on our registration register you will not gain entry.

Those who are not eligible for free admission (by way of their professional position and are not a guest of one of the sponsors) may purchase tickets to event to attend. Please see “Can I buy a ticket?” below.

Can I buy a ticket?
